Counsellor Directory

This innovative membership service serves to promote business information about your counselling practice, specialized services and skills as well as the ability to upload a profile picture and business logo. With futurist trends heading towards a generation that seeks information online as well as a specific set of skills, knowledge and experience, the CPCA believes this directory will provide a competitive edge for marketing our member's counselling services across Canada to the public, insurance providers, EAP contractors and government for verification of your legitimacy. All members who are in "good standing" will be approved to list their contact information in the directory on an annual basis. It allows our members to login to their directory listing once it has been approved and make any changes to their contact information.

Description

Hi! I'm Ashley - a person-centred, integrative counsellor who believes healing happens when people feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported. My approach brings together evidence-informed counselling with somatic, mindfulness, and holistic practices, recognizing the connection between mind, body, relationships, and lived experience. I work with adults, adolescents, families, caregivers, and helping professionals navigating trauma, anxiety, grief, burnout, relationship challenges, life transitions, and patterns that no longer serve them. I have a particular passion for supporting helpers and caregivers who have spent so much time caring for others that they may have lost connection with themselves.

I bring more than professional training into the counselling room. I bring lived experience, humour, curiosity, and a deep respect for the complexity of being human. As a wife and mom of three boys, I understand that growth and healing rarely happen in perfectly quiet, uncomplicated lives. My work is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in curiosity rather than judgment. I do not believe counselling is about fixing people. I believe it is about creating a space where you can be honest about what is working, what hurts, and what you may be ready to change. Together, we can make room for greater understanding, reconnect you with your own wisdom, and help you move toward a life that feels more authentic and sustainable.
